SMARTFlux™ System

The SMARTFlux™ (Synchronization, Management And Real Time flux) system provides fully corrected flux results in real time at the research site.

  • Automated processing of raw data at the research site using EddyPro® software

LI-7200RS Enclosed Path CO2/H2O Analyzer

  • High speed, high precision, non-dispersive infrared gas analyzer for up to 20 Hz bandwith
  • Improved optics increase stability in dusty conditions
  • Based on the proven LI-7500A (see below)
  • Measurement range of 0 - 3'000 ppm CO2 and 0 - 60 ppt H2O
  • High precision of 0.16 ppm CO2 and 0.0067 ppt H2O typical RMS noise in ambient conditions @ 20 Hz
  • High speed in-cell temperature and pressure measurements
  • Continuous measurements through rain, snow, and fog

 


LI-7500RS Open Path CO2/H2O Analyzer

  • High speed, high precision, non-dispersive infrared gas analyzer for up to 20 Hz bandwith
  • Improved optics increase stability in dusty conditions
  • Low power consumption of 12 W during normal operation
  • Measurement range of 0 - 3'000 ppm CO2 and 0 - 60 ppt H2O
  • Less then 0.11 ppm CO2 and 0.0047 ppt H2O typical RMS noise in ambient conditions @ 20 Hz
  • Excellent stability
  • Absence of tubing eliminates delays and sorption effects, there is no signal attenuation

 


LI-7700 Open Path CH4 Analyzer

  • Wavelength Modulation Spectroscopy (WMS) gas analyzer for up to 20 Hz bandwith
  • Low power operation of 8 W during normal operation
  • Measurement range of 0 to 25 ppm @ -25 °C, 0 to 40 ppm @ 25 °C of CH4
  • Less then 5 ppb @ 10 Hz and 2000 ppb CH4 RMS noise
  • Low maintenance due to self-cleaning optics

 


LI-7550 Analyzer Interface Unit

The LI-7200 and the LI-7500A includes the LI-7550 Analyzer Interface Unit - a weatherproof enclosure that houses the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) electronics.

Four analog input channels and on-board USB data storage allow the LI-7200/LI-7500A to log complete eddy covariance data sets (CO2, H2O, U, V, W, and Ts, and other variables).

Ethernet and Serial data are output at selectable speeds of up to 20 Hz, and linearized user-configurable Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs) output analog signals at up to 20 Hz bandwidth .
